B1 & B2 Visa
B1 visa is the visa which allows you to enter the U.S with the purpose of doing business with a company within the U.S. B2 visa is the visa which allows you to enter the U.S with the purpose of tourism, pleasure, or visit to friends and family.
K-1 Fiancé Visa
The K-1 visa allows foreign citizens who are engaged to a U.S citizen to apply for permanent residency. K-1 visa will allow the foreign citizen who is engaged to a U.S citizen to go to the U.S. While in the U.S, the couple is expected to get married legally within 90 days of arriving in the U.S.
K-3 Spouse Visa
A K-3 visa is a visa created for married couples who are in the process of getting reunited through a permanent U.S immigrant visa. This applies for married couples when one spouse is a U.S citizen and the other is from a foreign country.
The H-1B visa, also called a Person in Specialty Occupation Visa, is a U.S work visa. To apply, you must qualify and be accepted in a specific job position that requires: 1. Possession of an advanced educational degree such as: A 4 four year Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent degrees) or a A Master’s of Doctoral Degree, Advanced training or vocational skills (examples include fashion models), or Qualify to work in specific research and development projects.
H2B is a work visa to allow U.S employers who can prove their temporary need for employees and cannot find them in the U.S to bring in foreign workers through the H-2B visa sponsors. Industries, which qualify to hire H-2B workers include: Hospitality, Cruise Ships, Resorts and Theme Parks, Construction, Ski resorts, Golf courses, Maintenance and janitorial, Landscaping, Water Parks, Warehouses, Restaurants and bars, Retail stores, Sports and athletics, etc.
L-1 visa allows Manager and an executive (L-1A) to be transferred to go to the U.S to take on managerial or executive position, or for a specialized knowledge (L-1B) employee to be transferred which will be beneficial to the company development in the U.S..
L-2 Visa is for dependents of L-1 Visa Holders. A spouse or unmarried child under 21 years old can join the L-1 visa holder as a dependent on an L-2 visa.
The I Visa is for journalists and information or media sector professionals who want to enter the U.S. as a foreign media representative.
O-1 Extraordinary Abilities Visa
O-1 visa is for people with expert knowledge in science, business, education, athletics, film or television industry or art, including performing artists, and have received international recognition for their work. O visas have been designed to give an advantage to highly educated and qualified people with extraordinary abilities and high educational degrees to work in the U.S.
O-3 Visa is for dependents of O-1. A spouse or unmarried child under 21 years old can join the L-1 visa holder as a dependent on an O-1 visa.
The E-2 visa is the investor visa. The person or company must commit to an investment around the recommended amount of between 100k-200k in the U.S to have an economic impact in the country from countries which the U.S. has a treaty with. An F1 visa is issued to international students who are attending an academic program or English Language Program at a US college or university.
The "M" visa is for nonacademic or vocational studies. M-1 visa holders for technical and vocational programs are not permitted to work during the course of their studies.
The J-1 visa in the United States is for people who wish to take part in work-and-study-based exchange and visitor programs in the U.S. J-1 exchange visitors come to the United States to teach, study, receive training, or demonstrate special skills. The J1 visa is meant for students who need practical training that is not available to them in their home country, and the training must be directly related to their academic program.
Eb-1 is for outstanding professors, researchers, people with extraordinary abilities in arts, science, business, athletics, or education, as well as executive managers who have worked at a foreign branch of a U.S company for the past 3 years. No sponsor is required. Self-Petition.
EB-2 is for professionals with advanced degrees and people with extraordinary abilities in arts, sciences, or business. U.S. Employer sponsorship required.
Eb-5 is for investors in the U.S who will invest between $500K to $1 million in the U.S economy. The EB-5 visa allows a foreign citizen to obtain a U.S Green Card through investing and creating jobs in the U.S economy. The investment must be between $500,000 and $1 million and create at least 10 jobs for U.S citizens or foreign immigrants.

Adjustment of Status is an application procedure by which someone in the United States goes from having one immigration status – such as a temporary visa holder – to having the status of permanent or conditional resident (green card holder), all without leaving the United States, based on an approved underlying green card eligibility criteria in a certain categories like Eb-1 or Eb-2.

I-751 – Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence
